Where to Find IRS Form W-9 For Mobile Notaries and Loan Signing Agents

Please note, I am not a tax or legal adviser and I am not giving tax or legal advise. This is informational use only. IRS Form W-9 is the document that your clients, like Escrow companies and Signing Agencies, will use to report the income they have paid you in a given year to the IRS. That client will then generate a 1099, which they will submit to you (usually in January each year) so you can use it for your own tax preparation. It is likely that every escrow direct client, and every signing company will have you fill it form W-9, so it helps to keep it in your important documents so it is easy to do so. Please seek assistance from a tax professional or attorney for specific questions on how to fill out this form. The IRS does provide five or six pages of instructions as well.
