As a tax enrolled agent, I discuss how to complete and file an IRS extension, form 4868. Taxes are due April 15 except due to the global pandemic, 2019 taxes are due July 15, 2020. I recommend every individual taxpayer complete this and give yourself an extension of time to file your income tax return. Extension is granted up to October 15, of the following year. So for tax year 2019, your tax return would not be due until October 15, 2020. Hopefully this walk thru of the extension form 4868 helps you. Thank you Nick
